Today is Dada’s birthday, and we LOVE birthdays!
When we got up this morning and came out to the living room,
we saw that Mummy had decorated with streamers and balloons.
We shouted WOW!
Dada was still upstairs in bed; he was tired from his business trip
to Denver yesterday.
But we wanted him to see what Mummy had done, so we raced upstairs
to get him,
shouting “Come on Daddy, come on! Come see balloons!”
We sang ‘Happy Birthday’, and pulled Dada back downstairs with us.

Mummy had made the special Birthday Coffee Cake (we love Coffee
Cake!) and
there were dinosaurs guarding the cake. That was silly!

Mummy put candles on the cake and we all got to sing Happy Birthday
again.
Then we helped Dada to make a wish and blow out the candles.

Then there were presents to open! Mummy gave Dada an entire
airport.
We all really liked that gift, because we all got to play with it!

Then we all went to the town pool for a swim!
When we woke up from our nap, some presents have arrived from Uncle
Todd!
Uncle Todd sent all kinds of Yankee gifts. We love that!
Uncle Todd always
finds the very best gifts.
We got real baseball gloves and Yankee caps and Yankee warm-up
jackets.
Now we can play real baseball with Dada!

What an amazing day! And that was
before we had our afternoon Cake Party and
dinner on top of Aspen Mountain.
Stay tuned for more…
